Yurung geog consists of 15 villages with 375 households and 1313 population. It covers an area of 28 square kilometers and it is the smallest geog in terms of geographical size. Relatively it has gentle terrain with warm humid and cold temperate climate. The maize is the main crop and rice is also grown in dry land. It is potentially for textile cloth, dairy farming, and potato and rice production. The geog is one day walking from Dzongkhag. It has geog centre, RNR centre, BHU, one LSS and one CPS.
