Chhokhorling is a newly established geog in 2006. The geog has 5 villages and 235 households with total population of 1854.It is bordered by Deothang to east and Indain state of Assam to the south. The goeg cover an area of approximately 144.86 square kilometers. The climate is moderate. Kamzhing and tseri are the major landholdings. maize is the staple diet. The main cash crop is orange.It is two days walk from Dzongkhag and seven days walk from Dzongkhag Headquater.It has a good scope for the horticulture. however a large member of wild such a selephant and its constant security problem are the threats for the geog developmental activities.It has two Community primary schools and 2 NFE centers and BHU. The new geog centers and BHU are nearing completion.And it is not access to motor able road and mobile connectivity. Chhokorling populary know as Kulicatta.
