Dungmin geog one of the least developed and remote geog. It has an area of 109.47 square kilometers with 382 house holds in 13 villages and 1470 population. It has moderate climate except in the high altitudes of Benang Goenpa,Tomi and Zimzore. The steep slope and deep gorges and sparsely settlement characterize the topography of the geog. Tseri and dry land dominates agriculture land use with negligible wetland cultivation. Growing cash crops such as ginger, cardamom, oranges, potato and mango are the potentially of the geog.The development of the geog, however, hads been constrained due to the lack of motor able, inadequate water source for irrigation, inaccessibility to market outlet, farm labour shortage and crop damage by wild animals and post harvest losses. It has two RNR centre, geog administration, two BHU,NFE centre and three community primary schools.
