His Holiness the Je Khenpo, Tuelku Jigmi Chhoeda, presided over a three-day Moenlam Chhenmo in Pemagatshel which began from April 6 and concluded on April 8. About 4000 people from all walks of life attended the prayer ceremony.According to Lam Neten of Pemagatshel Rabdey, Lam Jamba Sangye, this is the third Moenlam Chhenmo to be conducted in the dzongkhag. “The Moenlam is being organized for the liberation of all sentient beings, the world peace and for the continued well-being of the tsawasum. We hope that it will be an annual event.
