TVET: Another Way To Work

May 30, 2025 — On behalf of the MoESD, a team from Ranjung TTI conducted a comprehensive one-day workshop focused on Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET).

Aligned with the objectives of the National Education Policy and TVET Blueprint, the workshop emphasized the importance of a more comprehensive and 21st Century TVET framework. A key component of the session was on promoting VET as an alternate, and important, road to work.

LG leaders led by the DT Thrizin, Gups, Mangmis and Tshogpas attended the session. Relevant officials of the Dzongkhag administration and guidance counselors from schools also joined in the workshop.

The workshop served as a vital platform for stakeholders to exchange ideas, strategies, and best practices aimed at strengthening the TVET system and in fostering better understanding of the role of TVET in the era of Industry 4.0 and not as career dead-end.

The LG leaders agreed to spread awareness in their Gewogs with a greater sense of appreciation and urgency.
